Whittier Mikkelsen is an author and storyteller who specializes in healing stories and giving workshops on disability and emotional healing. She has an MA in psychology and worked in emergency mental health, until pain secondary to cerebral palsy made her slow down and pursue photography, writing and storytelling. Tony Toledo Will tell of Howard Blackburn a Gloucester fisherman. In January, 1883 Howard was on the schooner The Grace L Fears, heading out to the Grand Banks to fish for halibut.
